Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how wuwenjing ("the Site," "we," or "us") collects, processes, and uses your personal data in "What's Your Love Age?" ("the Service"), and how you can exercise your rights. It is written to cover the notice items required by Article 8 of Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act.

@Article 1Data collector

The collector of personal data for the Service is wuwenjing, contact email wuwenjingaiqian@outlook.com.

@Article 2What data we collect

The Service has no account system. You don't need to register or log in, and we won't ask for your name, phone number, address, or national ID number. What we actually collect is as follows.

(1) What you provide yourself

  • @1.Your answers: the options you choose across the 24 questions, the type of person you answered about (for example, "Current partner" or "Crush"), and the six dimension scores, Love Age Gap, and result type calculated from them.
  • @2.Email address: obtained only if you choose to enter it, and used in three situations: joining the waitlist for launch notifications, pre-filling the payment page when you buy a paid report, and sending unlock links.
  • @3.Quick feedback: the "how I feel today" rating and comment text you choose to submit at the bottom of the results page, used to understand your experience and improve the Service. Your email, answers, and any identifier are not attached when you submit, so we cannot tell afterward who left it, and cannot locate and delete a specific entry under Article 7. Please do not include information that could identify you in your comments.
  • @4.Purchase reason (optional): when you open your report after purchasing, a question at the top of the page asks "What made you decide to unlock this?". Only when you tap one of the options do we send the option you chose and the report type (individual or couple), to understand why people buy. Nothing else is attached: no email, order number, answers, or the browser identifier described below, so we cannot tell whose answer it is. If you don't answer or you skip it, nothing is sent.
  • (2) What the system records automatically

  • @1.Browser identifier: a random string generated by your browser, used to tell different sources of answers apart. It contains no information about your identity and is not automatically linked to your email.
  • @2.Usage events: for example, opening the site, starting the quiz, finishing it, viewing results, tapping share, how far you scroll on the results page, and how long you spend answering. Used for statistics and to improve the questions and pages. "Opening the site" is recorded once per browser tab, the first time that tab opens the site. It does not include the browser identifier described above; it only records when it happened and the visit source category described below.
  • @3.Visit source category: three kinds of events (opening the site, starting the quiz, and finishing it) also carry the source category of your current visit, so we can understand where people hear about this service and what time of day they use it. The categories are limited to Threads, Instagram, Facebook, LINE, other in-app browsers, search engines, other websites run by our operator, other websites, and opened directly. The category is determined in your browser from the browser version string (User-Agent) and the domain of the previous page; only the category name is sent, with no URL and not the browser version string itself. If your browser has "Do Not Track" turned on, this service does not send the site-opening record or attach the source category, and the server likewise does not count requests that carry that setting or can be identified as automated programs.
  • @4.Order records: the order number, amount, payment status, and the corresponding answer code and unlock credential generated when you purchase a paid report. When you purchase the Couple Deep-Dive Report, the order records the two answer codes on the couple comparison page (including the other person's) and which of the two the paying person is, in order to generate and deliver that report. The two people's nicknames are not recorded.
  • @5.Purchase entry point: when you open checkout, the order also records which purchase button you came from (the middle of the results page, the bottom of the results page, the paywall on your third quiz, after the save-image prompt, or the couple comparison page), so we can learn which placement explains things helpfully. It is only a placement category with no other information, and it is kept together with the order record.
  • (3) What we deliberately do not collect

  • @1.Nicknames are not stored. The nickname you enter at the start of the quiz is shown only on your own screen. It is not written to the database and does not appear in share images or in the titles of share links.
  • @2.IP addresses are not written to the database. The system uses IP addresses only briefly in memory for rate limiting to prevent abuse. They are not retained, not used for analytics, and not linked to your answers.
  • @3.We cannot see your credit card information at all. Payment is completed on Creem's page. Your card number, expiration date, and security code are handled by Creem and are never sent to our servers.
  • @Article 3Purposes of collection

  • @1.To provide the quiz and generate results pages and share images (specific purposes under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act: 152 advertising or commercial conduct management; 148 online shopping and other e-commerce services).
  • @2.To process orders for paid reports, deliver content, and provide follow-up customer service (specific purpose: 069 contracts, quasi-contracts, or other legal relationship matters).
  • @3.To compile usage statistics, review question quality, and improve the Service (specific purpose: 157 surveys, statistics, and research analysis).
  • @4.With your consent, to send launch notifications or unlock links (specific purpose: 135 information and communication services).
  • We will not sell, rent, or exchange your answers or email address with third parties, nor use them for any purpose other than those listed above.

    @Article 4Period, region, recipients, and manner of use

  • @1.Period: order and transaction records are kept for five years as required by tax and commercial regulations. Answers and event records currently have no automatic deletion schedule and are kept until the Service ends; you may request deletion of your own data at any time under Article 7, and we will handle it within the required time. Waitlist email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or the campaign ends.
  • @2.Region: data is stored in the data centers of the cloud service provider we use. Website traffic passes through the global nodes of a content delivery network (CDN), so necessary temporary storage and transmission may take place on servers outside the Republic of China (Taiwan).
  • @3.Recipients: us, and the third-party service providers listed in Article 5 that are necessary to provide the Service. Data is not provided to any other third party, except as required by law or by a competent authority or judicial body.
  • @4.Manner: stored in a database as electronic files, and transmitted and processed over the internet.
  • @Article 5Third-party services

    To provide the Service, we use the third parties below. Each of their own privacy policies applies to the data they process.

  • @1.Creem (payments): processes payments, issues invoices, and sends order confirmation emails. Receives your email address and payment information.
  • @2.Zeabur (hosting and database): the Service's application and database are hosted here.
  • @3.Cloudflare (content delivery and protection): speeds up connections and blocks attack traffic, processing the IP addresses of connections in the process.
  • @4.Google Analytics (traffic analytics, if enabled): compiles aggregated statistics on visit sources and page traffic. We have configured it to remove answer codes and unlock credentials from URLs before data is sent, so the analytics service does not receive your quiz results or report links.第二條所述的開啟網站紀錄、造訪來源類別、訂單來源類別與付費原因只存在本站的資料庫,不會交給 Google Analytics。
  • @5.Resend (email delivery, if enabled): used to send unlock links or launch notifications when you provide an email address.
  • @Article 6Cookies and browser local storage

    We do not use tracking cookies, and do not run third-party ads.

    We use your browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember seven things: your most recent answers (so you can pick up where you left off when you reopen the site), unlock links you've purchased (so you can get back after closing the tab), which quizzes you've completed on this browser (used to count the free views under Article 4 of the Terms of Use), the two nicknames on the couple comparison page when you buy the couple report (used to show names when you return to the report after payment), which reports you've already answered or skipped the "What made you decide to unlock this?" question for (so we don't ask twice; we store a short code derived from the report, not the answer code itself), whether the "Follow us on Threads" prompt on the result page has already appeared (so it only shows once), and a randomly generated browser identifier. The first six stay only on your device and are never sent back to our servers; the identifier is sent along with the usage events described in Article 2, to tell different sources of answers apart. You can delete them at any time using your browser's "clear site data" option; after that, you will need to obtain your previous unlock links again.

    We set only one cookie of our own: when you arrive through a referral link shared by someone else, it remembers that referral link's code for 3 days. It is passed by our server to the payment provider Creem only when you purchase a paid report, to calculate the referrer's commission. What it records is the referrer's code, not your identity, and it is not used to track your browsing. If you click a different referral link within the 3 days, the most recent one applies.

    If Google Analytics is enabled, that service sets its own cookies to distinguish visit sessions. You can refuse them through your browser settings or the tools Google provides.

    @Article 7Your rights and how to exercise them

    Under Article 3 of Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, you may exercise the following rights regarding the personal data we hold:

  • @1.To inquire about or request to review it.
  • @2.To request a copy.
  • @3.To request that it be supplemented or corrected.
  • @4.To request that its collection, processing, or use be stopped.
  • @5.To request its deletion.
  • Please email wuwenjingaiqian@outlook.com, with enough information to locate your data (for example, the URL of your results page, your order number, or the email address you provided). We will reply within fifteen business days of receiving your request; if necessary, this period may be extended, and we will tell you why.

    Please note: transaction records that must be kept by law (Article 4) cannot be deleted on request until their retention period ends, but we will stop using them for any purpose other than meeting that retention obligation.

    @Article 8What happens if you don't provide data

    Your answers are required to generate results; without them, you cannot use the Service.

    Email address is always optional. If you don't provide it, you can still complete the quiz, view your free results, share links, and purchase paid reports (you can enter it directly on Creem's payment page at that point, or choose not to). The only difference is that we can't send you unlock links or launch notifications.

    @Article 9Data security

    All connections to the Site are encrypted with HTTPS, the database can only be accessed by authorized applications, and the admin interface is password-protected. Unlock credentials are long, randomly generated strings, each tied to a single set of answers.

    However, no transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. In the event of a personal data breach, we will investigate as required by law and notify affected individuals in an appropriate manner.

    @Article 10Minors

    The content of the Service centers on intimate relationship situations between adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen. If you find that someone under eighteen has provided personal data without their legal guardian's consent, please notify us at the email address in Article 1, and we will delete it as soon as possible.

    @Article 11Changes to this Policy

    We may modify this Policy and will post the modified version and its update date on this page. For major changes involving the purposes of collection or the recipients of data, we will give notice in an appropriate manner.

    This Policy applies together with the Terms of Use.
